Kyle McMakin

Kyle McMakin is a touring Pickleball Professional and former Division I tennis player from UC Davis with over 20 years of coaching experience. He began teaching tennis in 2003 and has spent the past six years coaching pickleball full-time across the country, helping players of all levels elevate their game.

A highly accomplished competitor, Kyle has won two coveted Triple Crowns—sweeping singles, doubles, and mixed doubles at the 5.0 level. His accolades also include a 5.0 35+ Men’s Doubles National Championship, two Minor League Pickleball titles, and a PPA Bubly Men’s Doubles Championship, along with many other tournament victories.

Kyle is known for his deep understanding of the game, quick technical corrections, and ability to simplify complex strategies for players. With a DUPR above 6.0 and a passion for training, video analysis, and competition, Kyle brings high-level insight, energy, and professionalism to every camp he teaches.
